Antivirus Faceoff: A Non-Alarmist’s Guide to Mac Malware Protection

Article Source : http://lifehacker.com/spyware/

The vast majority of Mac users do absolutely nothing to prevent malware or viruses from infecting their systems, and very few of them have experienced anything that would make them think twice about it. The fact is, however, that Mac malware does exist, and there are tools available to ensure that your Mac is as safe as possible from emerging threats.
Apple itself is straightforward about the fact that OS X isn't impervious to attack. If you go looking, you can find this bit of instruction:
Run an antivirus program if you find any suspicious files or applications, or if you notice any suspicious behavior on your computer. - Apple Support
The argument that OS X is inherently secure enough to dodge nasty things isn't untrue, it's just incomplete. Snow Leopard does have its own built-in malware detection service, but it's usually months behind the databases provided by security firms like Sophos. OS X is a UNIX system, so it's very strict about file permissions and user accounts, but malware doesn't need an administrator account to steal your personal information.
You don't have to be "cruising the red-light district" of the internet to be at risk, either. Take the MacDefender problem as an example. MacDefender, along with variants MacSecurity and MacProtector, is malware that tricks users by looking like it's actually an anti-malware app, and it usually shows up when a poisoned image or link is clicked in an otherwise innocent list of search results. The same trick is often used for fake utility apps like movie players or download managers.
While it's true that Windows is and always has been the primary target for malware, it really comes down to market share. Apple's rise in popularity over the last few years can only be calledmeteoric, so the days of feeling safe just because nobody makes malware for Macs are numbered.
Does that mean you're likely to get infected with something today? Not likely. Mac users can probably keep doing nothing for a couple of years before change is forced on them, but there's no reason to sit back and wait for it. Whether its spyware, viruses or trojans, there are tools available. So, let's take a look at a few of the best options available today that can help protect your Mac.

Little Snitch ($29.99)

Little Snitch isn't technically an antivirus or anti-malware app. It's a service that runs in the background as an interactive firewall. Any app that tries to communicate with another system, whether it's over the network or on the other side of the planet, has to go through Little Snitch. The first time an app tries to make a connection, Little Snitch pops up a request box, and you can choose to allow the connection or have it blocked. You also choose whether you want that choice to be temporary or permanent, and you can alter the "rules" you make at any time. Little Snitch also has a small status window that shows you exactly what's communicating with the outside world at all times, and it shows you where the data is being sent. You can try Little Snitch for a short period, but it's well worth the $29.99 price point. [Little Snitch]

Sophos Free Antivirus for Mac (Free)

Sophos is one of the most trusted authorities on malware and viruses in the industry, and their free offering for OS X is well worth the download if you're feeling insecure. It's extremely user-friendly and never tries to push you to "upgrade" to a paid version. It comes with its own uninstaller (which is actually rare) and it can scan networked drives (which is even rarer). While you're using your Mac, it constantly scans in the background for viruses and known malware threats, along with any suspicious signs of unknown malware threats. It doesn't put a noticeable dent on your system's performance, and Sophos is extremely quick to react to emerging threats (which means you'll always have up-to-date protection). Best of all, of course, is the fact that it's all free. [Sophos]

ClamXav (Free)

ClamXav (Clam Antivirus for OS X) can look daunting to more inexperienced users, but it's actually pretty simple and very powerful for the tiny footprint it has. It puts nearly no drain on your system while running in the background, and you're able to pre-define what folders or drives are scanned in real-time. Virus/threat definitions are updated on a daily basis, and the user always maintains control because everything ClamXav does can be monitored. Whether you're running a system-wide scan, or just running ClamXav in the background, you can actually sit and watch the log file to see each and every file as its scanned. ClamXav is open source and free. [ClamXav]

MacScan ($29.99)

MacScan isn't a normal antivirus/anti-malware app. Instead of running in the background, MacScan is meant to be run by the user, then closed when finished. It scans the system for all sorts of malware, but it differs from others by specifically targeting cookies. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it can get pretty annoying when your anti-malware scanner pops up with 27 alerts because of cookies picked up at major web sites. On the other hand, it can be very useful for users who want to rid their system of every last "tracking" cookie. The problem is that MacScan pushes very hard to get you to upgrade to the full version, and because of that, the free version is all but crippled. If you were to purchase the full version, it would cost you $29.99. [MacScan]

ESET Cybersecurity for Mac ($39.99/year)

ESET, like Sophos, is a major player in the antivirus/anti-malware industry, and their Mac offering is extremely sleek. It's not all looks, either; ESET Cybersecurity is the total package. User control is a big selling point for the app, beginning with the installation options. It's got a surprisingly small footprint, so it doesn't slow down your system while running in the background, and it's extremely user-friendly. ESET's threat database can update daily, or every hour—it's your choice. The sleek interface, ease of use, scanning speed, and control options are all major pluses for the app, but ESET's effectiveness is what really makes it worth a yearly fee. It consistently scores higher than most other antivirus apps in third-party tests. A single year's license will cost you $39.99, but you can try it free (full-featured) for 30 days. [ESET]

Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Mac ($39.99/year)

Kaspersky's offering for Mac is very full-featured and user-friendly, like ESET, but differs in that it has fairly high system drain compared to other apps on the list, and includes link-checking extensions for Chrome, Safari, and Firefox. The main interface looks simple, but it's got very granular controls in its preferences. A year's subscription for Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Mac costs $39.99, but you can try it free for 30 days. [Kaspersky Labs]

Others

iAntiVirus and VirusBarrier Express are both simplistic options for Mac users, but neither does anything special, or better than even a free offering like Sophos. VirusBarrier Express is especially known now for dumping features in an attempt to force users to upgrade to the paid VirusBarrier Plus, which still offers nothing that would place it above alternatives.
When it comes down to it, you should always use a free trial and evaluate whatever choice you make, and see for yourself whether it's a good fit for the way you use your system. Don't feel pressured to use an expensive solution, either. The risk of malware striking Mac users may be higher now than in previous years, but it's still a low risk. If nothing else, you can help Windows-using friends by catching potential threats to them.

Five Best Antivirus Applications

Article Source http://lifehacker.com/395046/five-best-antivirus-applications

The internet is a glorious and exciting world, but unless you're properly protected with a good antivirus application, it can also be a dangerous one. We've come a long way since the days of Norton, with handfuls of excellent freeware software that can keep your computer safe from malware just as well as their bloated, more expensive counterparts. On Tuesday we asked you toshare your favorite antivirus application, and today we're rounding up the five most popular answers. Hit the jump for an overview of the five best antivirus applications and to cast your ballot for the best antivirus app of the group.

AVG Anti-Virus (Freeware and Shareware)

The lightweight AVG Free provides protection against the various nasties floating around the internet. Like many of the options in the Hive Five, AVG provides freeware (with limitations) and commercial versions of their software, but most users find AVG Free is all they need—though many users prefer versions prior to the most recent 8.0 release.

NOD32 (Shareware)

NOD32 is best known for its speed and small system footprint, but users also swear by NOD32 as a comprehensive and bulletproof solution. At $40/year for a home license, it's not free, but NOD32 die-hards claim the pricetag is well worth it.

Avast Antivirus (Freeware and Shareware)

Available in both freeware (Home) and shareware (Professional) flavors, Avast Antivirus is the happy home of many an AVG-switcher. Avast is slightly heavier on system resources, but users argue its excellent protection more than makes up for the increased footprint. The freeware version will cost you an email address to get a free registration code from their website.

Avira AntiVir (Freeware and Shareware)

According to many of its users, Avira is the go-to freeware app for detecting viruses and other malware that other antivirus apps miss. Like several of its peers, Avira is available in both freeware (Personal) and shareware (Premium) versions, and most people find the freeware alternative plenty to suit their needs. One downside to Avira on install is pop-up ads enabled by default (adware, anyone?), but you can disable the ads with a couple of clicks.

Kaspersky Anti-Virus (Shareware)

Fans of shareware antivirus app Kasperskypoint out its consistently strong ratings in malware protection as well worth the $60 license. Kaspersky also boasts an extremely quick response time to new viruses, earning it a special place in the hearts and system trays of its users.
Now that you've seen the best, it's time to vote:

This week's honorable mention goes out to ClamWin, the only open-source option featured in the bunch.
If you've got more to share, whether your antivirus-app of choice made the list or not, let's hear more about your favorite in the comments. If you give a new antivirus app after reading through some of your other options, you may want to check out the harmless EICAR virus testto see what your new antivirus tool looks like when it catches a new virus.

HIV & AIDS Symptoms in Men – 5 Signs to Notice and to Tell if You are Infected HIV?

Author: Madison Green

Have you ever experienced with unprotected sex? Are you engaged in a high-risk behavior such as sharing needles during intravenous drug use? If so, you are probably exposed to Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). And when you has tested positive for HIV, it simply means you has now acquired the HIV which is the cause of AIDS.

The early signs of being infected are shown differently in men and generally happened within two to six weeks after the infection of HIV known as the acquired immunodeficiency syndrome which damages an individual's immune system. The early HIV symptoms can be concluded with these following signs:

Sign 1: Fever

Fever is one of the most common early HIV symptoms. It is occurred both in men or women. This certain symptom generally appears soon after infection. It will happen during two to four weeks, and gradually dissipate like other flues. The fever symptoms are normally mild in nature and raise body’s temperature around 100 to 101 degrees F.

Sign 2: Headache

Mostly HIV infected men will get fever with periodic stroke of mild to moderate headaches. These headaches seem normal as general headaches you have faced in everyday life.

Sign 3: Swollen Glands

In a man who is infectious he can be found with some amount of swelling or inflammation in one or more of the lymph glands in the body. He may be found with a gland in his neck, armpit or groin that has gradually become swollen, raised and firm. In general, this swelling or inflammation will not cause any kind of pain or discomfort to the gland. Besides, this symptom shown always be mistaken for another illness.

Sign 4: Fatigue

The infected men can also be found with dramatic changing of their level of energy or stamina. They can become unexplainably fatigued or tired more than general. However, physical exercise in any man can result them differently and they probably conceive that this certain feeling occur a little more tired from a day at work.

Sign 5: Rash

In early symptom of HIV it can probably happen in the form of a general rash that appears as patches of skin that are gradually discolored from other areas. The rash may show raised and simply fade away within a week to a month after it first developed.

If those signs are appeared to you, the best suggestion here is to get yourself tested. The idea of being Tested for HIV Infection may be frightening. But the HIV Testing itself doesn't bring you HIV-positive or HIV-negative result. It's very critical not only for your own health but also to prevent the transmission of the virus to others.

Useful Tips To Relieve Bloated Stomach

Author: Kiran Tamada

Bloating is not a disease by itself. It is more of an indication of some other serious underlying medical condition related to digestive disorders such as indigestion. Nowadays with introduction of pre-packed foods, fast food and ready made food, people are opting for these kinds of food due to their hectic life style and constraint of time which in turn is causative factor for digestive disorders such as bloated stomach, trapped wind, indigestion, etc. Also irregular and unusual eating habits are other factors for bloated stomach.

Stomach bloating is when the abdomen feels full and tight, even when you have not just eaten. It most often occurs in the small intestine rather than the stomach, as most people believe. And the most common cause is irregular digestion that produces gas at a higher rate than normal. Some of the causes of bloated stomach are; eating too fast, swallowing air, eating food too fast, lactose intolerance or certain food intolerances.

Females generally suffer from a bloating known as pre-Menustral bloating. This usually occurs during the pre- Menustral cycle where legs and hands swell up.

In Medical parlance, bloated stomach is defined as excessive gas in the stomach. If you are suffering from it or not, you can identify the same using the below guidelines:

Passing of excessive gas/wind
Painful Stomach Cramps
Bloated Abdomen
Feel very uncomfortable with tight clothes

Identification of the causative factor is the key element for proper dianosis and remedy. As discussed above, pre-packaged food, ready made food contain chemical additives in small quantities which are quite harmless, but over a period of time, they build up in the body and become causative factor for bloated stomach. To identify these additives, a technique known as flat stomach can be very helpful. You can identify the cause by reducing the particular kind of food which you feel is causing the bloated stomach and once you have identified it, avoid that food and get rid of it.

If you are taking Buffalo milk regularly, it is time to minimize its intake. Buffalo milk is deficient in Lactose. Lactose is an enzyme that helps in digestion of milk by breaking glucose. As matter of fact 1 ounce of undigested milk produces one gallon of gas, hence reduction of buffalo milk can prevent bloated stomach to an extent.

Consumption of excess wheat also produces lot of gas. A protein called gluten is responsible for production of gas.

Other factors responsible for production of gas are antibiotics, sweets and salt. Excess consumption of these items results in excess production of gas; avoid eating lot of sweets and foods containing high salt.

In nut shell, proper kind of diet, consumption of wholesome food and proper exercise can prevent bloated stomach.

Bad Circulation - Am I A Victim?

Author: Doug Pare

There are millions of people around the globe taking treatment for bad circulation, and there are many others who suffer from bad circulation, but not aware of that. Most people ignore the symptoms or take it lightly and hence fail to diagnose it in time. When the person dies all of a sudden, then only others realize that he/she was suffering from bad circulation. This is why bad circulation is sometimes referred as a silent killer.

Bad circulation, in medical terminology Peripheral Vascular Disease PVD, is a medical condition which is somewhat similar to carotid artery disease and coronary artery disease. Bad circulation is caused when fatty deposits are accumulated in the inner linings of the artery wall. This accumulation results in the blockage of blood circulation. Bad circulation in arteries leads to the kidneys, arms, hand, legs, and feet. Most people who suffer from bad circulation may have fatty deposits in the arteries of brain and heart. This can cause the death of the patient from heart attack and stroke.

Bad circulation is considered as a serious condition and can result in heart attacks, loss of limbs, stroke, and in many cases even death. However if found in the early stages, bad circulation may be prevented or treated in the early stages with meditation, drug treatment, surgery, life style changes, or mostly a combination of all these treatments.

Some of the main symptoms of bad circulation are legs and or feet falling to sleep, cramping of the buttocks, legs, or feet, pain in the legs, swelling of the legs, tired aching feet; and very low temperature in your hands, arms, legs, or feet. If you feel that you have some or most of the symptoms then you may have been suffering from bad circulation. It is better to visit your family doctor and take a complete check up. Bad circulation can be diagnosed by a physical examination, ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging angiography MRA, and X-ray angiography.

Some lifestyle changes which can help you to lower your risk include controlling diabetes, quit smoking, controlling blood pressure, and consuming low cholesterol diet. Bad circulation can be prevented to some extend by taking healthy fat free diet and regular exercises.

All we have to do is take a good look at the lifestyle we are living and it should be quite obvious to everyone why this is happening. First of all most people do not get enough exercise which is a crucial factor in allowing our blood to circulate properly. Bad circulation can lead to heart attack and strokes and if that is not enough all the fast food and fatty foods most people eat, only add to the problem.

Sebaceous Cysts Treatment Tips

Author: Juliet Cohen

A sebaceous cyst is a closed sac under the skin filled with a cheese-like or oily material. Sebaceous cysts are commonly seen on the scalp, labia, scrotum, chest, and back, but can be found anywhere on the body. A foul odor is also often present in the substance called keratin which fills sebaceous cysts. Keratin is a protein that creates the sac of cells called sebaceous cysts. The bumps or lumps you can feel under your skin are actually the sac of cells. Sebaceous cysts are often the result of swollen hair follicles, or skin trauma. The scalp, ears, back, face, and upper arm, are common sites for sebaceous cysts, though they may occur anywhere on the body except the palms of the hands and soles of the feet. In males a common place for them to develop is the scrotum and chest.

They are more common in hairier areas, where in cases of long duration they could result in hair loss on the skin surface immediately above the cyst. The main symptom is usually a small, non-painful lump beneath the skin. Small lumps or bumps that occur just under the skin of the genitalia, breast, abdomen, face, neck, or elsewhere on the body are the most common symptom of sebaceous cysts. Sebaceous cysts may occasionally become infected and form into painful abscesses. It is important when sebaceous cysts are surgically removed that the entire sac is excised to help prevent a recurrence. large cysts may reappear and may have to be surgically removed. If a cyst becomes infected, treatment may include administering antibiotics and then surgically removing the cyst.

Surgical excision of a sebaceous cyst is a simple procedure to completely remove the sac and its contents. Total excision surgical technique removes the entire cyst and so prevents recurrence. Home treatment of sebaceous (epidermal) cyst, may relieve symptoms but may not make the cyst go away. Apply warm, wet washcloths to the lump for 20 to 30 minutes, 3 to 4 times a day. Inject an inflamed but uninfected epidermoid cyst with a corticosteroid to help reduce the inflammation. To minimize scarring use a carbon dioxide laser to vaporize an epidermoid cyst on your face or other sensitive area. Avoiding excessive sun exposure and using oil-free skin care products can help prevent milia. To prevent scarring and infection, don't try to squeeze cysts yourself.

Sebaceous Cysts Treatmen and Prevention Tips

1. Do not squeeze, scratch, drain, open (lance), or puncture the lump.
2. Keep the area clean by washing the lump and surrounding skin well with an antibacterial soap.
3. Apply warm, wet washcloths to the lump for 20 to 30 minutes, 3 to 4 times a day.
4. Avoiding excessive sun exposure and using oil-free skin care products can help prevent milia.
5. Prophylactic tetracycline or erythromycin ointment is applied once, 1 hour after delivery.

How To Lose Weight In 3 Weeks

Author: Brenna Jordan

From What You Are Going To Learn In The Diet Solution Website
How to lose weight in 3 weeks? That question has been hanging inside the head of most obese women. It was inside my head too until I found a quick solution to turn things around. Well, I wasn't like this myself. I was someone who had all the stress because it seems all the fat loss program never worked for me. Tried tons of programs and they never worked.
Then I joined a program that teaches you everything about balance. It worked and yeah it makes sense that energy balance is what it takes to help you lose weight. Basically if you check on other diet programs, they tell you to lose less fat or less carb. Of course those programs work for awhile but it doesn't last forever. It does happen because your body would then get used to absorbing less energies from the fat/carb intake.
Now in order to know how to lose weight in 3 weeks, you must understand the whole concept of calorie shifting and calorie burning. You should start eating 5-6 times a day instead of 3 times but each with smaller portion of meals. This calorie shifting method would lead to better metabolism and therefore help your working out session to  burn more calories as well.
You can achieve at least 5-10 pounds difference in just 3 weeks if you do it with discipline. And no, this time it will be permanent result. You can expect to keep losing weight until you achieve your ideal weight with these whole new diet plans.

Understanding Your Body
If you try to do something new, your body would then try to adapt with it. There's a hormone in your body called leptin. It is something that control your appetite and body reaction to meals. When you get used to eat healthy things and one day you eat unhealthy meal, your body most likely would try to reject it at first. However, when you are used with unhealthy foods, it won't have the same issue.
Now when you eat less fat, your body would try to adapt and it doesn't make anything better. You would need to shift calories and do proper workouts in order to lose weight consistently. The Diet Solution Program, which I joined, clearly explain how everything needs to be done in forms of video.
I recommend you to join The Diet Solution Program and learn exactly what you need to eat, how to exercise, and all the weight loss plans that you need to know in order to get your ideal body back

Need alternatives to hotel? Rent the best Amsterdam apartment

Author: dylanross

With Holland becoming a popular travel destination, tourists flocking to Amsterdam are finding it increasingly hard to book hotels or resting areas as they already are filled with pre bookings. Amazingly, even popular resting places seem to be going through the same plight. Fortunately, apartments in Amsterdam are available 24/7 and are scattered in and around the majestic city. Traditionally, the good old Amsterdam apartment never came into limelight as the city had great many world class hotels that offered exceptional grade of hospitality. However, with Euro tourism almost doubling up by 35% over the past 1 year, it's quite obvious to witness Amsterdam hotels getting booked well in advance. Thankfully, the good old Amsterdam apartment isn't bad either. Although it doesn't quite match the hospitality standards seen within some of the big 5 star hotels in the city, but these modern apartments do offer travelers superb accommodation at affordable price margins.

In fact, travelers can easily look to rent up apartments in Amsterdam for weeks at a time. Scattered all over the famous city, the quintessential Amsterdam apartment isn't actually too hard to find. Owners of such apartments usually maintain their own private websites that can be found easily over the internet. Travelers can make their bookings well in advance and can even seek for additional services like site tours, hiking etc. Interestingly, the average   Amsterdam apartment is far bigger than the once found within neighboring European nations. Besides, nowhere else would travelers find apartment owners offering fringe benefits at reasonable costs.

Travelers can essentially look to book apartments in Amsterdam for months at a time. Besides, they can even look to add up stuffs to their bed and drawing rooms if they wish to. Although there aren't any provisions that hold back tourists, but apartment owners generally don't like tourists fiddling too much with their stuffs. Amazingly, the average Amsterdam apartment seems to be precisely placed within key locations and offer unique views of the amazing city. Amsterdam actually offers the perfect abode for tourists seeking to escape their stressful lifestyles. What's more, these apartments mostly have their own private backyards that offer amazing views of the beautiful city. Tourists can also look to flock to the roof and catch up with the highly admired European sunset or they can simply camp up on roof tops to create barbeques.

The most amazing bit about apartments in Amsterdam is that the amount of flexibility they offer is far more than any European hotel can offer. In fact, travelers can make their rented apartment feel and look like their very own for the amount of time they stay. With almost no clause to hold back on, tourists can make the most of their rented Amsterdam apartment.

Katta Sambol ( Chilli Sambol)

What good is a blog named my sambol without a actual recipe for a sambol ? Well beat me to it. decided that I'm going to include one just for fun :)

2 tbsp of chilli powder
1 tsp of salt
1 tbsp maldive fish (optional)
1/2 lime

Now there's the traditional way of getting your hand dirty and sweaty using the motar and pestle or the modern way of putting all the ingredients in a food processor. add all the ingridients except lemon and grindit all together. add the lime at the end. give it a good mix and off you go. you can figure out which way is more fun !

Now you might wonder what this sambol is good with. theres lots of food that you can try this sambol with, to name a few,

  • oriental fried rice
  • rice with coconut milk, some call it nasi lemak specially if you are Malaysian
  • Hoppers ( google for hoppers if you dont know what it looks like )
  • and with just about any dish that requires some fireworks of chilli.

Dont forget to keep a glass of water with you when you are trying it out. :)

Deploying an IP PBX

Executive Summary
The task of commissioning an IP PBX system at Janani publications which is an SME company with a staff of 25 employees. They have an existing CDMA system and they want to upgrade their communication system to increase productivity and reduce outgoing call costs.
Due to increased number of telephone calls originating within Janani publications, I recommend migrating to a full manageable and cost effective IP PBX.
My plan is to implement, 12 internal extensions with 4 outside PSTN lines. IP PBX that uses freely available open source software is to be utilized. The work would be completed within 16 days, and a period of 7 days for testing and training staff. The system will be online on successful completion of the above work.  This project report is a detailed report on how this IP PBX will be implemented and commissioning at Janani publications.
The Cost of operating the existing CDMA system is measured using the current telephone bills and number of calls originated. The outcome shows that the high telephone costs and low operational output requires drastic improvements to the network and telecommunication system.
Introducing IPBX system will curtail the call costs while increase the call productivity by giving more call time for less cost allowing Janani publications to utilize the IPBX system to improve their business and marketing performance using the telephone system. A detailed project analysis and a budget forecast have been formulated in accordance with the project objectives to obtain a realistic project outcome.

How to Season a Wok

There are many methods to actually prepare your brand spanking new wok to be in perfect condition for a super delicious stir fry or a wokalicious dish, but all these ways are based on one fact that is to clean the wok with a steel wool or a sponge and coating it with some sort of oil or fat while heating.

Woks made with carbon steel are the cream of the crop. You can use them to just about do anything that relates to cooking :) Stir fry, braise, boil and to make soups and stews you name it!, but only after your wok is seasoned and its ready for action.

When you buy a wok from the store they are normally coated with some anti rust coating to stop rust from eating your wok away, so this anti rust stuff could be some high tech stuff made by the NASA or just be plain grease or machine oil. to remove all these nasty stuff you could use the good ol steel wool or some dirt grime buster soap and a sponge would do the trick too. Keep in mind folks this is the first and the last time you will need to use this combination on your wok unless it becomes rusty!

Now its time to coat the super clean wok with some oil or fat. you could use vegetable, corn or peanut oil or any fatty oil for this process. Keep the wok on your stove and keep the heat on the high setting. after, pour the oil on the bottom of the wok. spread the oil out by moving the wok around or use a wet paper towel held by tongs to fully cover the surface of the wok with oil. continue until you could the see the bare metal turn its color into a platinum sort of colour or brown, which will protect the wok from rust. make note that the process will produce lot of smoke so keep windows open for ventilation.

some people suggest  adding chopped ginger and/or scallions to make that wretched taste of metal go away.

So after you are done with all the cooking and when its time to clean up, all you have to do is run it by with hot water. remember soap and steel wool is now your woks worst enemy. If you cant get some food off the surface of the wok try using some salt granules and rub it off with a soft sponge until its clean. after the rinsing keep it on a hot stove to dry the wok and dont forget to apply some oil on the surface for the first few times to keep it all nice and smooth before putting it away.
